Los Locos is Two Awesome to Ignore

The first time I heard Los Locos play was at Fire Stone Pizza in downtown Dothan.  As my family and I walked in on a Friday night, we immediately picked out the tune, "Heaven".  As we walked to our table, I mentioned, "Wow, they have a really good band playing tonight."  As we sat down, and I could see around a half-wall that had hidden most of the corner where the band was positioned, I realized that there were only two guys playing.  I asked my wife, "How do you get that kind of sound out of just two people?"  Little did we know, we hadn't heard anyting yet, because the next song was, "Play That Funky Music".  We had a great time that night as we listened to Los Locos cover some of our favorite songs in their own up-beat style.

Juan Cepero (L) P.J. Muller (R)
The two talented musicians making up the Dothan, Alabama band, Los Locos, are Juan Cepero and P.J. Muller.  Their skills over a wide range of instruments and their ability to make an old song new, makes these guys a "must hear" when they are playing.  They also have a broad range of genres to please everyone in their audience.  "Play That Funky Music" may be followed with a blues tune or Stevie Wonder's soulful hit, "Superstition".  Then, throw in a pop hit and a few of their original songs and you're hooked!

After only a year of performing together, Juan and P.J. are quickly becoming fan favorites as they often play many of the local venues.  Be sure to check the "LIVE Music" listings in DothanLife Events (http://www.dothanlife.com/events.php) to learn where these guys are playing next.  Also, you can check DothanLife's Video tab to see them in action.  Learn more about Los Locos at http://www.reverbnation.com/loslocosacoustics#! or search for them on YouTube to see added videos, including their original work.  Bottom line, get out and see them the next time they perform in Dothan and support the awesome local music we have right here in our home town.
