Have you been anxiously awaiting spring sports? Well, they're here, beginning tonight in Troy. Troy University is hosting the Chick-Fil-A Invitational this weekend. Troy will host five teams this weekend. Alabama State, Western Kentucky, Buffalo, North Florida and Florida A&M.Troy's first game takes place Friday night at 7:30 PM as the Trojans take on the ladies from Florida A&M. The FAMU team has ties to Dothan through sisters, Toni and Denise Anderson. Toni and Denise both played at Dothan High School.
On Saturday, Troy will face Buffalo at 2:30 PM and follow that game with a contest against WKU at 5:00 PM. On Sunday the 8th, Troy will play the University of North Florida.
