Honey Workshop at Landmark Park

The Wiregrass Beekeepers and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System will be at Landmark Park this Saturday, June 27th to teach you everything you ever wanted to know about bees.  The workshop begins at 10:00 AM and is open to the public and free with your paid gate admission to the park.  Come and watch as honey is extracted from the bee hives and bottled for your purchase.  Honey will be sold as long as supplies last.  A pint of honey will be available for $8.

Landmark Park is a 135-acre natural and cultural history museum.  It is Alabama's official Museum of Agriculture.  It is located on Hwy 431, just 2.7 miles north of the Ross Clark Circle.  For more info, call Landmark Park at 334-794-3452.
