Are you ready to plant a new flower bed or this
year’s vegetable garden? The Wiregrass
Master Gardeners are having our 19th Annual Spring Plant Sale on
Friday, April 10 from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday, April 11 from 9:00am to
2:00pm.
The sale will be held in the
master gardeners’ nursery at the beautiful Dothan Area Botanical Gardens,
5130 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama. There will be a wide selection of plants in
the categories of veggies, herbs, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, bulbs,
fruits, house plants, ferns, and tropicals, ornamental grasses, vines and
ground covers, succulents and hanging baskets.
Our plants are not purchased but lovingly grown from seed, propagated
from cuttings, or dug from our own beds.
The prices are reasonable and include free planting tips from the master
gardeners. Information will be available
on fire ant control, soil testing, and gardening in general. Admission is free!
