Karate Classes Offered at Westgate

World Yoshukai Karate offers ages 7 and above instruction in traditional Karate, self-defense, physical conditioning, the use of traditional Karate weapons, and respect, manners and discipline.  Mike Culbreth, Master Instructor, a 7th degree Black Belt, instructs all classes, as he has for more than 35 years.

                                                                                                                                      
Location:     WESTGATE RECREATION CENTER
Class  I:      Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
                  Children Ages 7-12
Fee:            $50 per month

Class II:      Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:45-6:45 p.m.
                  Men & Women Ages 13 & Up
Fee:            $50 per month                                                                                                      
Registration is held the first week of each month.    Call 615-3700 for more information.

OTHER SUMMER KARATE CLASSES will be offered at World Yoshukai Karate, 1791 Ross Clark Circle. Call 794-8238 for more information.

    Karate styles place varying importance on Kihon. Typically this is performed in unison of a technique or a combination of techniques by a group of karate. Karate in Connecticut
