Dothan Leisure Services will be sponsoring a Supershot Basketball Competition for boys and girls ages 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. The competition will be held on Tuesday, January 13th at Wiregrass recreation Center.
The competition requires the use of dribbling and shooting skills. Points are awarded according to the distance from which the shot is made. Points are subtracted for walking, palming and double dribbling.
The competition is free and registration will begin at Wiregrass Rec Center at 5:30, with the competition beginning at 6:00. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each group. For more information, contact Angie Lowe at 615-4743 or Tony Thorne at 615-4740.
